Well, I didn't get anything accomplished again today.... My children were home from school and it was pretty much a lax day. They go back to school tomorrow so I should be able to get some work done. I am trying to figure out how to add the a Twitter plugin to my blog. All this HTML/CSS/Website stuff if really killing me, but I have to get it figured out.  I was actually in the process of downloading the Twitterupdater when for some reason all the Internet Explorer windows I had opened....closed....argh, argh..... Now my Internet connection is acting sluggish for some reason. I listened to a call tonight where Kathleen Gage interviewed Willie Crawford and boy was it an AWESOME call!!!! Willie is very motivational to say the least, and I picked up a few tidbits of information from him this evening... I am very disappointed though.....  he is having a Birthday Bash Seminar  (he is turning 50) March 27-29th in Orlando, FL and I can't attend because my daughter is in her very 1st pageant the 28th and I just can't miss it....I REALLY want to attend his Birthday Bash Seminar.....it is very affordable and  there are some Great Speakers lined up....Stephen Pierce, Mark Hendricks,  David Preston, Lynn Terry, Kathleen Gage, and Kevin Johnson....just to name a few.... There's no need to marvel on..... I guess I'll just have to catch the next one ( I hope it will be as convenient and affordable as this one)...What a Bummer!!! Totally changing subjects here... Stay away from Camera Giants Inc.com they boast the lowest price on the Internet for the camcorders and camera I was looking at, and I am convinced they are a scam. I called about the D90 they have listed on their site for $749.99 (with a 18-105mm ...Read More »

Distractions!!!!!!

[gallery] Well... I definitely let distractions take over my day. I had a plan all mapped out yesterday of what I would do today... I'd get my articles and ads written out for the week, finish my landing page for Maverick Money Makers, add more emails to Aweber and research a new niche I'm working on.....Well low and behold I ended up with two distractions that caused me to do none of my outlined tasks (not good...Now I'm super duper behind schedule) .....The first distraction has been frustrating to say the least because I don't know what I want and I've spent the entire day today researching........You know Circuit City is going out of business right; so I decided to stop by last night and got an awesome deal on the Sony S-AirPlay (I like it, and I'm thrilled that it actually charges my 2nd Generation 32GB Ipod touch). While I was there I came across a HD camcorder Canon Vixia HV30 being offered for $529 & a Samsung HMX20C being offered for $509. I played around with the Samsung camcorder, and was so impressed that I decided to come home and do some research..... now I'm stumped as to which one I should get. I currently have the JVC Everio GZ-MG330, but I'm not crazy about the video quality. It is the perfect size, but the video quality falls short for me. I should have done more research before I bought that one..... While researching the entire day today I also came across the Canon Vixia HF10, and I'm even more confused than I was before!!!! This is a very hard decision to make, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I do know that I will need a HD camcorder because I'm planning on doing videos for ...Read More »

Is There Really Such a Thing as FREE PLR Content?

{ Posted on Feb 26 2009 by Nikki B }
The question is there free plr content brings on the discussion today.....Great digital products that convert qualified prospects into real customers is the core to any successful internet marketer's business. Most marketer's either create their own products or assign other knowledgeable individuals to do the laborious work for them. I am sure, if given a chance most marketers would rather save time and money and do what the smart internet marketers do. I mean, if you think about what all  is involved in creating your very own e-book....spending hours doing tons of research, actually writing the book- and that in itself can be very challenging if you are not "Writer Savvy". Even if you are a great writer, you still face quite a challenge in getting your e-book together and ready for publication, not to mention how much time it will take.   I'm not saying that hiring a good writer is a bad idea, but when you factor in how much a "good writer" will cost you...it can bring you back to reality real fast! Unless..... Money is not an issue for you. I am not sure about you, but I would much rather spend my money on getting traffic to my site so that I can make more $$$$ vs. spending money on a ghost writer right out of the gate! So, if you're like me....always looking at different ways to save money and time in your internet ventures....I'd like to share with you, what I have uncovered. It actually is worth you taking a peek at, If you are serious about saving time and money. PLRWholesaler.com   Just to give you a refresher on what PLR is...Private Label Rights, which allows you the right to use content written by someone else as your own. Most PLR content gives you the ability to modify or ...Read More »

Content Creation?

{ Posted on Feb 11 2009 by Nikki B }
Ok…. Sooo…The saying “Content Creation is King” has led me to do a lot of thinking regarding what to post about on BabySteps 2 Millions. I think for most people who are getting started, and even those with a little experience under their belt, this seems to be quite a challenge. I mean.... Where do you get good, quality web content from?   I, for one thought I had the answer to that question all planned out, but I find myself revamping my original plans little, by little every day. This is actually becoming pretty interesting to me (trying to figure this all out) though. I think I'm getting better and better with content creation for someone who used to despise writing once upon a time (all through school).   Content Creation primarily consists of original articles written for your business/industry with the sole purpose of keeping your visitors interest. The ultimate goal you are trying to achieve is to gain an audience for your site. You want to provide a excellent source of quality information so that your visitors will come back for more, and web publisher's will view you as a reliable source they can link to.   Continuous content development is a must have necessity for any business or individual seeking to have a thriving presence on the World Wide Web. Although it is one of the most laborious tasks when setting up a website, there is no way around it or any short-cuts you can take. You have one of two choices…Generate your own web content..Or.. Hire someone to generate the content for you, ie friends, elance.com, or scriptlance.com.   If you choose to generate your own content you can use PLR material (do try to change it up a bit, so that you won't have any issues with duplicate ...Read More »

Analyzing your Bright Idea

{ Posted on Feb 05 2009 by Nikki B }
When you are on the prowl for your bright idea, make sure you do your due diligence and research, research, research before you fall in love with it. I can't stress this enough. Why are you going to try and re-invent the wheel? It is better to know your target market, than to create a product, and then say "Who can I get to buy this?" You may find it easier to know the target market first, and then decide on the idea/product. Whatever your idea may be, it must answer these simple questions: 1. Does my target market have money? How much money should they make to be included? 2. Is my target market easily reachable? How am I going to reach them? 3. Are they online? If they aren't online you can't sell them an online digitally delivered product.   Once you have decided on the target market, and some bright ideas to go along with it, you have to stroll over to the search engines to do a little research. Whatever your term is, enter it into Google search. The more results you get back the better, because it lets you know that you're on to a popular topic that has lots of information out there for you to make a good decision on whether the topic should be a good idea or not. You can also use "your market + discussion board/forum" to visit forums that discuss your possible idea so you can get more feedback, and a feel of what people are looking for.   Don't forget to check out what your competition is doing. Don't be afraid of the competition. You should be glad that you are not having to re-invent the wheel and trying to create something totally from scratch. Just make sure not to blatantly copy someone ...Read More »
